Dayton: Turning Streetcar to Trolley Bus 1932-1947

The conversion from streetcar to trolleybus in Dayton is a very complicated topic. Upon and after conversion, lines were extended to cover new service areas. Different ends were joined together, and while all this happened, a war took place, and lines were bought by City Railway, further complicating the story.

In order to explain it, I'm going to tear a page from the Interurban birth/death part of the website, and take you on a graphical journey of how the streetcar lines in Dayton turned to trolleybus, starting on April 23, 1933.
